Both Orlando International Airport, approx 55 minutes away, and Sandford Airport, Orlando, which is a little further, about 90 minutes, easily accesses Lake Marion Resort.
By Car
Leaving Orlando International Airport & Sandford Airport, Orlando, take 417 south; follow 417 south until junction 10. Leaving 417 at junction 10, take John Young Parkway south.
Follow John Young Parkway for 8 miles, passing lights for Emmet and Patrick, and after turning for The Oaks Boulevard, take next left at lights onto Pleasant Hill Road. Continue on this road for 7 miles to Poinciana. This road then turns into Cypress Parkway. After passing Burger King, Winn Dixie & Wal-Mart on your left and lights for Doverplum, take next left at lights onto Marigold Avenue.
Follow Marigold Avenue to 90-degree bend (4.5 miles); this road then turns into Poinciana Parkway. Continue along this road for 1.9 miles and after the turning for Hemlock Avenue on your right, take the next right onto Lake Marion Creek Drive.
Lake Marion Resort entrance and guardhouse is the third turning on your left.
The rental office is situated immediately on the right of the clubhouse after entering the resort.
Tolls
Some of the larger roads have tolls, so some small change is a good idea. Charges are around $ .50c, although most have pay booths for drivers requiring change.
